Waterproof Systems
Radmat Inverted Roof System. Radmat Permaquick is a rubberised structural waterproofing system that is specified, globally, on some of the most iconic and prestigious project in modern day construction. It is very effective for all applications and is an excellent choice for Green, Bio-diverse and Blue Roof systems. It can be used for tanking plaza decks, car parks, sub-structure tanking, basements, podiums, balconies and terraces and main roof area. This system can be applied to a zero falls substrate (supported by its full system BBA approval on zero falls and positive falls) and can withstand dilute acids and standing water. Radmat is fully bonded preventing water from tracking under the membrane.
Application includes bituminous primer; first coat of Radmat Permaquick, polyester reinforcement layer and second coat of Radmat Permaquick followed by a bitumen glass fibre protection sheet brush rolled at laps. Alternatively there are heavier UV Stable protection sheets such as root barrier protection integral within the system for Green Roof and Blue Roof application. Radmat provide an insurance backed warranty that is unrivalled by any other waterproofing manufacturer. (including some cover for consequential loss) for an extended term of 35 years.
High Performance Liquid Plastics Cold Applied Waterproofing. Alltech provide a range of Liquid Plastics cold seamless structural waterproofing systems which can be applied to a concrete, metal, timber or felt substrate, providing a complete weather tight and air tight solution. This system cures with the atmosphere and includes a carrier membrane bonded with adhesive, primer, basecoat, re-mat reinforcement layer and roller applied top coat.
Liquid Plastics waterproofing systems are designed to last the economic life span of the building in either a new build or refurbishment application. It is excellent at dealing with structural movements and building tolerances and has root resistant properties for green roof applications. The membrane is also UV stable allowing it to withstand constant UV exposure.
Applications include inverted roofing, warm roof, podium, plaza deck waterproofing, basement and substructure tanking, balcony tanking with options of grit/quartz finishes accommodating exposure to foot traffic. The Liquid Plastics Balcons system is ideal for exposed trafficked areas that are overlooked on a building; it has a range of textures and anti slip properties and colour dyes that can harmonise with any design aesthetics of a building. Warranties provided are up to 25 years.
